The Marine Anthropause Research Synthesis Project is looking for a 6-month Research Assistant or Post-Doc to assist Dr. Amanda Bates with her latest anthropause research project. The successful applicant will work with Amanda on researching the resiliency of trophic levels to anthropogenic stress by analyzing responses to the anthropause.
Potential duties:
- Communicating with and coordinating several teams of researchers
- Posting updates to the MARS website to keep members informed.
- Managing data collected from collaborating authors
- Data analysis
The level of experience of the successful applicant will determine which duties they will be responsible for. Good communication skills will be key, an interest in or experience with trophic ecology is a bonus.
Wage will be dependent on experience and qualifications. Flexible hours. BC residents preferred, applicants of diverse identities are encouraged to apply.
